Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0316653A2] As a rule, concrete palisades have hitherto been manufactured in modified pipe-moulding machines. In this process, the production cost for manufacturing a range of concrete palisades of different length is considerable. With the novel process and corresponding apparatus, the intention is to be able to manufacture the novel concrete palisade at a substantially lower cost. The concrete palisade is manufactured from a moulded concrete article (23) which has the same configuration as the concrete palisade. Several moulded concrete articles are produced simultaneously in a brick-moulding machine known per se and are also provided there with predetermined breaking points (25, 30). Finally, one or more concrete palisades of the same or different length can be manufactured from a moulded concrete article by breaking at one or more predetermined breaking points. The particular configuration of the concrete palisade permits inexpensive production of concrete palisades in conventional brick-moulding machines.
