A motor-vehicle hoist has a lifting arm (6) which is pivotably linked to a mobile base frame (1) and can be lowered into a position between side parts of the base frame (1) forming a ramp. Lateral supporting arms (7) which are guided parallel to the floor plane by a parallelogram link (10) are attached to the free end of the lifting arm (6). A hydraulic cylinder-piston unit (3) serves to pivot the lifting arm (6). Eine fahrbare Hebebühne zum Anheben von Kraftfahrzeugen weist einen an einem fahrbaren Grundrahmen (1) schwenkbar angelenkten und in eine Position zwischen seitlichen, eine Auffahrrampe bildenden Teilen des Grundrahmens (1) absenkbaren Hebearm (6) auf, an dessen freiem Ende seitliche Stützarme (7) angeschlagen sind, welche mit einem Parallelogrammlenker (10) parallel zur Bodenebene geführt sind. Zum Schwenken des Hebearmes (6) dient ein hydraulisches Zykinder-Kolbenaggregat (3), das in einem Abstand von der Schwenkachse (5) des Hebearmes (6) gelagert ist, welcher bei maximaler Betriebshöhe der Stützarme (7) einen Schwenkwinkel ( ) der Achse des Zylinder-Kolbenaggregates (3) zur Bodenebene zwischen 75° und 105° ergibt. Das Zylinder-Kolbenaggregat (3) greift in einem Abstand vom freien Ende des Hebearmes (6) an, welcher wenigstens 15% der Länge des Hebearmes (6) entspricht, und der Hebearm (6) ist zwischen der Angriffstelle des Zylinder-Kolbenaggregates (3) und der Anlenkstelle der Stützarme (7) im wesentlichen als zum freien Ende desselben offener U-Träger ausgebildet.
