Apparatus for producing a mat of continuous filaments which, under the action of a gaseous propellant, are drawn at high speed in bundle form out of holes in spinneret plates of a spinneret pack and, after passing through a filament take-off apparatus, are deposited by means of a deposition device designed as a spreading device onto a conveyor belt moving in the machine direction. Two spinneret packs are arranged spaced apart in the machine direction, and at least one spinneret pack is rotatable, together with the deposition and spreading device, in a plane which extends parallel to the conveyor belt. In operation, this makes it possible to produce a mat of altered appearance or a new mat product. <IMAGE>

Vorrichtung zur Herstellung eines Vlieses aus Endlosfäden, die unter Einfluß eines gasförmigen Treibmittels mit hoher Geschwindigkeit als Fadenschar aus Spinndüsen von Spinnplatten eines Spinnbalkens abgezogen und nach Durchlaufen einer Fadenabzugsvorrichtung mittels einer als Spreizvorrichtung ausgebildeten Ablegevorrichtung auf einem Ablageband, welches sich in Produktionsrichtung bewegt, abgelegt werden. In Produktionsrichtung sind zwei Spinnbalken im Abstand voneinander angeordnet, und mindestens ein Spinnbalken ist mitsamt der Ablege- und Spreizvorrichtung in einer parallel zum Ablageband verlaufenden Ebene drehbar. Während des laufenden Betriebes läßt sich damit ein verändertes Ablagebild des Vlieses bzw. ein neues Vlies-Produkt erzeugen.
