Abstract (en)
The end of a yarn on a cop is grasped by means of an air flow which sweeps over the cop surface from the bottom upwards in a swirling and/or helical fashion, and is then drawn vertically upwards from the cop (4). During the flowing of the air, the cop (4) is caused to roll with a wobble on a guiding face (6') which surrounds the cop (4). The end of the yarn is seized above the cop core and/or transferred automatically to a stand-by position, thread-joining means, spooling device or a similar device. The stand-by position used can also be the core interior. The air can be blown tangentially and obliquely upwards into a tube (6) surrounding the cop (4) through air nozzles (7, 8, 9). For the purpose of limiting the blowing time, switchable valves (V1, V2) can be present. <IMAGE>

Das Fadenende eines Kopses wird mittels einer die Kopsoberfläche von unten nach oben wirbelnd und/oder schraubenförmig überstreichenden Luftströmung erfaßt und anschließend überkopf des Kopses (4) gezogen. Der Kops (4) wird während des Strömens der Luft zum taumelnden Abrollen auf einer den Kops (4) umgebenden Leitfläche (6') gebracht. Das Fadenende wird oberhalb der Kopshülse ergriffen und/oder automatisch an eine Bereithaltestelle, Fadenverbindungseinrichtung, Spuleinrichtung oder dergleichen Vorrichtung übergeben. Als Bereithaltestelle kann auch das Hülseninnere dienen. Die Luft kann durch Luftdüsen (7, 8, 9) in ein den Kops (4) umgebendes Rohr (6) tangential und schräg nach oben gerichtet eingeblasen werden. Zur Begrenzung der Blaszeit können schaltbare Ventile V 1, V 2) vorhanden sein.
