[origin: EP0374524A1] In pairs of core laminations for the construction of core stacks of shell-core transformers, particularly comprising E and I core laminations (1, 2), the E and I core laminations (1, 2) are stamped, for the purpose of optimum production conditions of transformers having optimum characteristics, without waste in such a manner that, after the stamping, they can be joined to one another in one plane inseparably form-fittingly in a friction-locked manner. In this arrangement, the E core laminations (1) have at the front ends of their outside legs (6, 7) one stamped-in groove (5) each and the I core laminations (2) have two stamped-on locking noses (4) each which can be accommodated friction-locked in the grooves (5). <IMAGE>
