[origin: JPH03820A] PURPOSE: To easily improve the metering accuracy of the dispensing amount of fiber flock by using a pair of feed rollers forced with a prescribed load in the approaching direction and separable by the pressure of the fiber flock and adjusting the rotational speed of at least one of the rollers in a specific state. CONSTITUTION: A feed roller 20 is pressed toward a feed roller 18 with a pre- loading apparatus 76 and the rotational speed of the roller is adjusted so as to keep the product (n×x) to a constant level at least on an average, wherein (x) is the gap between the roller 18 and the roller 20 separated by the pressure of a fiber flock 60 and (n) is the rotational speed of at least one of both rollers.

Ein Dosierverfahren bzw. eine Dosiervorrichtung zur Abgabe vorgebbarer Mengen von Faserflocken pro Zeiteinheit mittels zweier am unteren Ende eines Flockenschachtes (14, 14.1, 14.2) angeordneter, in entgegengesetzten Richtungen drehbarer, zwischen sich einen Forderspalt bildender Speisewalzen (18, 20; 18.1, 18.2, 170, 1172), wobei vorzugsweise eine Öffnerwalze (22; 22.1, 180) unterhalb der Speisewalzen angeordnet ist, zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß wenigstens eine der Speisewalzen in Richtung der anderen Speisewalze (18; 20.1; 170) vorgespannt und von dieser unter dem Flockendruck wegbewegbar ist, daß der Abstand (x) zwischen den beiden Speisewalzen oder ein diesem proportionaler Wert gemessen wird und daß die Drehzahl wenigsten einer der Speisewalzen so geregelt wird, daß das Produkt (n.x) der Drehzahl und des Abstandes zumindest im Mittel konstant bleibt.
