Improved machine making it possible to carry out the continuous ply-twisting of yarns, of the type comprising a specific number of work stations arranged on either side of a common supporting stand, each work station comprising an assembly similar to a double-twist unwinding spindle, making it possible to join by twisting two elementary yarns (1,2) coming from two supply sources (3,4), and means (9) for winding the ply-twisted yarn (8) obtained. It is characterised in that: - the suppporting stand of the work station is designed in such a way that the two faces of the machine (D,G) are spaced from one another, so as to define between them a zone (11) allowing the passage of two superposed conveyor assemblies (17,18), one (18) serving for ensuring the discharge of the reels (9) of ply-twisted yarn formed, and the other (17) for bringing supply reels to each station from a fixed-station supply located at the end of the machine; - the two reels (3,4) for the elementary yarns (1,2) are arranged side by side in the lower part of the supporting stand. <IMAGE>

Machine perfectionnée permettant le câblage de fils en continu, du type comportant un nombre déterminé de positions de travail disposées de part et d'autre d'un bâti support commun, chaque position de travail comportant un ensemble analogue à une broche double torsion dévideuse, permettant de réunir par torsion deux fils élémentaires (1,2) provenant de deux sources d'alimentation (3,4), ainsi que des moyens de renvidage (9) du fil câblé (8) obtenu. Elle se caractérisée en ce que : - le bâti support des positions de travail est conçu de telle sorte que les deux faces de la machine (D,G) soient espacées l'une de l'autre, de manière à définir entre elles une zone (11) permettant le passage de deux ensembles transporteurs superposés (17,18), l'un (18), servant à assurer l'évacuation des bobines (9) du câblé formé, l'autre (17) à amener à chaque poste des bobines alimentaires et ce, à partir d'une alimentation à poste fixe prévue en extrémité de la machine ; - les deux bobines (3,4) pour les fils élémentaires (1,2) sont disposées côte à côte à la partie inférieure du bâti support.
