Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zum selbsttätigen, gruppenweisen Austausch voller Spulen 3 gegen leere Hülsen 25 an einer Vorspinnmaschine, mit einem entlang der Maschine verfahrbaren Wagen 1 mit an einer Greif- und Schwenkvorrichtung 30 angeordneten Greifern 5 für volle Spulen 3 und leere Hülsen 25, mit einem mit Aufnahmedornen 51, 51' für die Spulen 3 und Hülsen 25 versehenen Drehtisch 9 und mit einer Hubvorrichtung 10 im Bereich des Drehtisches 9 zur Weitergabe voller Spulen 3 an eine sich entlang der Vorspinnmaschine erstreckende Transportvorrichtung 11 und Überführung leerer Hülsen 25 von der Transportvorrichtung 11 zu dem Drehtisch 9, wobei die Greifer 5 der Greif- und Schwenkvorrichtung 30 in ihrem gegenseitigen Abstand durch eine Verstelleinrichtung veränderbar sind. Erfindungsgemäß wird durch die Verstelleinrichtung 30 der Greif- und Schwenkvorrichtung der gegenseitige Abstand der Greifer 5 in eine erste Richtung verändert, wobei der Drehtisch 9 mit einer weiteren Verstelleinrichtung 50 versehen ist, welche den gegenseitigen Abstand der Aufnahmedorne 51, 51' in einer zweiten, zur ersten Richtung orthogonalen Richtung verändert.
