Abstract (en)
Process and device permitting doubling of the flow on the lanes bordering the central reserve of motorways, comprising a minimum of 3 lanes in each direction, causing no disturbance of the traffic for the duration of the works. The assembly consists of a chain of prefabricated elements, assembled mechanically or by means of reinforced concrete, prestressed or otherwise. The installation works may commence without land acquisitions and without prior foundation works. The dimensions of the elements as well as the design of the installation machine permit execution of the installation works while always leaving the lanes adjacent to the lanes in question free and hindering the latter only during the peak hours of traffic chosen for carrying out installation of the elements. The changing of lanes is possible on both levels. <IMAGE>

Procédé et dispositif qui permettent de doubler le débit sur les voies bordant le terre-plein cental des autoroutes comportant au minimum 3 voies dans chaque sens, en ne provoquant aucune gêne du trafic pendant la durée des travaux. L'ensemble est constitué d'une chaine d'éléments préfabriqués, assemblés mécaniquement ou par béton armé, précontraint ou non. Les travaux de pose peuvent commencer sans acquisitions foncières et sans travaux de fondation préalables. Les dimensions des éléments, ainsi que la conception de la machine de pose, permettent d'exécuter les travaux de pose en laissant toujours libres les voies adjacentes aux voies concernées, et ne neutralisant celles-ci que pendant les heures creuses de la circulation que l'on aura choisies pour effectuer la pose des éléments. Le changement de voies est possible sur les deux niveaux.
