Machine for bending steel bars, especially concrete reinforcing rods, with a feed conveyor, bending machine unit and delivery device. The bending machine unit has a movable bending machine, a base arrangement and a fixed bending machine. The movable bending machine can be moved back and forth relative to the fixed bending machine in the longitudinal direction of the base arrangement as well as in block travel mode. Arranged between the movable bending machine and the fixed bending machine is at least one supporting arrangement, which can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the base arrangement and has a table, an entry element designed as an inclined plane, a steel bar receiver for a plurality of steel bars to be bent arranged vertically one above the other, and a delivery element. The supporting arrangement can be pushed towards the fixed bending machine by the movable bending machine as far as a block travel position. The supporting arrangement can furthermore be pulled out of the block travel position, away from the movable bending machine, in to predeterminable supporting positions via at least one tension means of adjustable length. Biegeanlage für Stahlstäbe, insbesondere Betonstahlstäbe - mit Zuführförderer (1), Biegemaschinenaggregat (2,3,4) und Abwurfeinrichtung. Das Biegemaschinenaggregat (2,3,4) weist eine verfahrbare Biegemaschine (2), eine Auflageeinrichtung (3) und eine fest angeordnete Biegemaschine (4) auf. Die verfahrbare Biegemaschine (2) ist in Längsrichtung der Auflagereinrichtung (3) zur feststehenden Biegemaschine (4) hin und zurück sowie mit Blockfahrt verfahrbar. Zwischen der verfahrbaren Biegemaschine (2) und der feststehend angeordneten Biegemaschine (4) ist zumindest eine in Längsrichtung der Auflagereinrichtung (3) verfahrbare Stützeinrichtung (5) angeordnet, die einen Stützeinrichtungstisch (6), ein als schiefe Ebene ausgeführtes Einlaufelement (7), eine Stabstahlaufnahme (8) für mehrere in vertikaler Richtung übereinanderliegende zu biegende Stahlstäbe (S) und ein Abwurfelement (19) aufweist. Die Stützeinrichtung (5) ist von der verfahrbaren Biegemaschine (2) in Richtung auf die feststehende Biegemaschine (4) bis in eine Blockfahrtstellung drückbar. Die Stützeinrichtung (5) ist ausserdem aus der Blockfahrtstellung heraus über zumindest ein längeneinstellbares Zugmittel (9) von der verfahrbaren Biegemaschine (2) bis in vorgebbare Stützstellungen ziehbar. Ausserdem sind der Stützeinrichtungstisch (6) sowie unabhängig davon die Aufnahmebreite der Stahlstabaufnahme (8) quer zur Längsachse der Auflageeinrichtung verstellbar.
