Bei einem aus einem Haltergehäuse (1) und einer dieses durchsetzenden, mit Brems-und Rastmarken versehenen Türhaltestange (2) bestehenden Kraftwagentürfeststeller, bei dem im Haltergehäuse zwei, durch jeweils in einem Halter (7,12) aus Kunststoffmaterial gelagerte Wälzkörper (14) gebildete, und mit den Brems (21,22)-oder Rastmarken (23,24) der Türhaltestange zusammenwirkende Bremskörper zum einen in einem feststehend im Haltergehäuse angeordneten Halter (7) und zum anderen in einem gegen eine Federlast im wesentlichen quer zur Bewegungsebene der Türhaltestange schwenkbar im Haltergehäuse angeordneten Halter (12) aufgenommen sind, ist zur Verbesserung der Wirkungsweise des Türfeststellers vorgesehen, daß die Schwenklagerachse (13) des schwenkbeweglichen Halters in einem einem Mehrfachen des Durchmessers des oder der Bremskörper entsprechenden Abstand von dessen Rotationsachse angeordnet ist und daß der schwenkbewegliche Halter (12) an einer feststehend im Haltergehäuse angeordneten Lagerachse (13) aufgehängt und durch eine Metallfeder belastet ist, wobei die diesem zugeordnete Belastungsfeder (18) tangential zum Umfang des in ihm gelagerten Bremskörpers am schwenkbaren Halter (12) angreift. <IMAGE>
