Abstract (en)
The nippers have a nipper bottom part with a frame (8) and with a lower nipper plate (9) carried by the frame (8). An upper nipper plate (10) is movable relative to the lower nipper plate (9), in order to clamp between an edge of the upper nipper plate (10) and a front edge of the lower nipper plate (9) a fibre tuft which is to be combed out. The nipper bottom part (8, 9) carries two lateral guide elements (18, 19) which have fibre-guide faces (20, 21) confronting one another in front of the front edge of the lower nipper plate (9). The fibre-guide faces (20, 21) guide the side edges of the combed-out fibre tuft, when the nippers (9, 10) are opened and the fibre tuft is fed to a pair of stripping cylinders. The side edges of the fibre tuft consequently remain compact and without laterally projecting fibres. The pair of stripping cylinders can form a more uniform worsted fleece. <IMAGE>

Die Zange hat einen Zangenunterteil mit einem Rahmen (8) und einer von dem Rahmen (8) getragenen Unterzangenplatte (9). Eine Oberzangenplatte (10) ist bezüglich der Unterzangenplatte (9) bewegbar, um zwischen einem Rand der Oberzangenplatte (10) und einem vorderen Rand der Unterzangenplatte (9) einen auszukämmenden Faserbart festzuklemmen. Der Zangenunterteil (8, 9) trägt zwei seitliche Führungselemente (18, 19), welche vor dem vorderen Rand der Unterzangenplatte (9) einander zugekehrte Faserführungsflächen (20, 21) aufweisen. Die Faserführungsflächen (20, 21) führen die Seitenränder des ausgekämmten Faserbartes, wenn die Zange (9, 10) geöffnet wird und der Faserbart einem Abreisszylinderpaar zugeführt wird. Dadurch bleiben die Seitenränder des Faserbartes kompakt und ohne seitlich abstehende Fasern. Das Abreisszylinderpaar kann ein regelmässigeres Kammzugvlies bilden. <IMAGE>
