[origin: WO9107017A1] An analogue to digital converter circuit of the kind including an n-bit quantiser (where n > 1) for providing an output signal comprising an n-bit representation of the signal applied to its input, in which the quantiser is replaced by a quantiser element (3) providing an address location and a random access memory (RAM) device (4) at which an accurate representation of the corresponding output signal is stored, thus providing an instantaneous output signal of a predetermined level accuracy.

Circuit convertisseur analogique/numérique du type comportant un quantificateur de n-bits (où n > 1) destiné à créer un signal de sortie contenant une représentation n-bits du signal appliqué à son entrée, dans lequel le quantificateur est remplacé par un élément quantificateur (3) fournissant une adresse et une mémoire morte (RAM) (4) dans laquelle est stockée une représentation précise du signal de sortie correspondant, ce qui permet de disposer d'un signal de sortie instantané doté d'une précision prédéterminée.
