L'invention se rapporte à un système, qui sert à produire des instructions et des signaux de commande pour un cycle de fonctionnement complet d'un dispositif manipulateur de robot (4) d'une instaallation à cintrer les tôles (500) par simulation de l'environnement opérationnel et dans lequel les diverses parties (2, 3, 10, 12) de l'installation à cintrer les tôles (500) sont présentées à l'utilisateur sur un écran vidéo (9a) sous une forme simplifiée et sur une échelle réduite. L'écran vidéo (9a) et un clavier (8a) sont connectés à un processeur central (7a) et permettent de produire une séquence complète de signaux utilisables pour commander le fonctionnement de l'installation à cintrer les tôles (500) et permettent de présenter la simulation du mouvement des parties (2, 3, 10, 12) de l'installation (500) sur l'écran vidéo (9a).
