[origin: EP0468095A2] Known demulsifying agents have a high specificity and have a low environmental acceptability. Demulsifying agents are now proposed which contain oxyalkylated alkoxypolyglycosides of formula I [R-O-Zn-O-(AO)xH] I. These demulsifying agents have low specificity and are biologically degradable.
