[origin: DE4022965C1] In order to produce a pointed end on a contact pin (1), an inclined face (13) is first produced at each of four positions at 45 DEG to each other, the faces making an acute angle with the axis of the pin. The positions between these faces are subsequently worked in the same way. These two operations are repeated until the end is reduced in cross-section to an octagonal pyramid.

Afin de fabriquer la pointe d'une broche de contact, on forme, dans une première phase, sur quatre endroits décalés de 45° les uns par rapport aux autres, une surface cunéiforme (13) formant un angle aigu avec l'axe de la broche. Ensuite, dans une seconde phase, les emplacements intermédiaires sont formés de la même façon. La première et la seconde phase sont répétées jusqu'à ce que, grâce à la diminution progressive de la section de la broche, se crée un tronc de pyramide octogonal.
