Abstract (en)
Wire coilers inserted behind wire processing machines shape the wire into wire coils with a mostly uniform radius of curvature. In order to be able to detect the start or end of a wire coil, it is proposed to give at least one of the two ends formed when cutting the wire a shape which differs from the coiling radius. <IMAGE>

Hinter Drahtbehandlungsmaschinen eingesetzte Drahtwickler formen den Draht zu Drahtgebinden mit meistens gleichmäßigem Krümmungsradius. Um den Anfang bzw. das Ende eines Drahtgebindes leicht zu erkennen, wird vorgeschlagen, mindestens eines der beiden beim Durchtrennen des Drahtes gebildeten Drahtendes in eine vom Wickelradius abweichende Form zu bringen. <IMAGE>
