Abstract (en)

The method relates to early recognition and prevention of sticking during the strip-casting of metals, in particular aluminium and aluminium alloys. The strip movements in the region between the roll gap (W) and the first deflection roller (46), in the vertical direction with respect to the strip surface (42, 44), are measured continuously or quasi-continuously and process parameters are changed by program control upon occurrence of vibrations. With the detection of this microsticking, process parameters can be changed before damage is caused due to sticking. <IMAGE>

Das Verfahren betrifft ein frühzeitiges Erkennen und Verhindern des Stickings beim Bandgiessen von Metallen, insbesondere von Aluminium und Aluminiumlegierungen. Die Bandbewegungen im Bereich zwischen dem Walzspalt (W) und der ersten Umlenkrolle (46), in vertikaler Richtung zur Bandoberfläche (42, 44), werden kontinuierlich oder quasi-kontinuierlich gemessen und beim Auftreten von Vibrationen Prozessparameter programmgesteuert geändert. Mit dem Erkennen dieses Mikrostickings können Prozessparameter geändert werden, bevor durch Sticking Schäden verursacht werden. <IMAGE>
