The invention relates to a method and apparatus for treating metallic strips, especially hot-rolled metallic strips, in the entry part of a pickling line, the metallic strip (6) being stretch-bend-straightened directly after being uncoiled from an uncoiling reel (1) and a belt tension sufficiently high for stretch-bend-straightening being produced. In the course of the production of the belt tension, the metallic strip can be dressed immediately prior to bend-straightening to avoid flow patterns. <IMAGE>

Es handelt sich um ein Verfahren und Vorrichtung zum Behandeln von insbesondere warmgewalzten Metallbändern im Einlaufteil einer Beizlinie, wobei das Metallband (6) unmittelbar nach dem Abwickeln von einem Abwickelhaspel (1) streckbiegegerichtet und ein für das Streckbiegerichten hinreichend hoher Bandzug erzeugt wird. Im Zuge der Bandzugerzeugung kann das Metallband unmittelbar vor dem Biegerichten zur Vermeidung von Fließfiguren dressiert werden. <IMAGE>
