The proportional choke valve (37) is activated by an electronic control system (17) in which the flow characteristics of the proportional choke valve (37), which vary as a function of pressure, are stored and which, as a function of the control signals from a first pressure transducer (16) which picks up the load pressure in the motor (11), forms an activating signal for the proportional choke valve (37) from an input desired value for the size of the volumetric flow, so that electronic load compensation can be carried out with the seat valve (37).
