Abstract (en)
For glazing windows (1) made of plastic materials or the like, a glass pane (3) is inserted into a frame (2) which is prefabricated by welding together individual profile pieces (8; 13) which are cut off from a plastic extruded profile and in this case clamped securely between profile stops (6) and glass-holding strips (7), preferably with seals (4; 5) being interposed. In order to make possible efficient, automatable glazing, the profile pieces (8; 13) and the glass-holding strips (7) are cut off from an extruded profile which is already equipped with a glass-holding strip or the like and the glass-holding strips (7) are then opened for insertion of the glass pane (3) only after the profile pieces (8; 13) have been welded together to fit the frame. A profile according to the procedure comprises a basic profile (9; 14) with an upwardly projecting fixed leg (10; 15) as profile stop (6) and with, lying opposite the fixed leg, an openable clamping leg (11; 16) as glass-holding strip (7). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Zum Verglasen von Kunststoffenstern (1) od. dgl. wird eine Glasscheibe (3) in einen durch Zusammenschweißen einzelner, von einem Kunststoffprofilstrang abgelängter Profilstücke (8; 13) vorgefertigten Rahmen (2) eingesetzt und dabei vorzugsweise unter Zwischenlage von Dichtungen (4; 5) zwischen Profilanschlägen (6) und Glashalteleisten (7) festgeklemmt. Um ein rationelles, automatisierbares Verglasen zu ermöglichen, werden die Profilstücke (8; 13) und die Glashalteleisten (7) gemeinsam von einem bereits mit einer Glashalteleiste od. dgl. ausgestatteten Profilstrang abgelängt und dann die Glashalteleisten (7) erst nach dem rahmengerechten Zusammenschweißen der Profilstücke (8; 13) zum Einsetzen der Glasscheibe (3) geöffnet. Ein verfahrensgemäßes Profil umfaßt ein Grundprofil (9; 14) mit einem hochragenden Festschenkel (10; 15) als Profilanschlag (6) und mit einem dem Festschenkel gegenüberliegenden, öffenbaren Klemmschenkel (11; 16) als Glashalteleiste (7). <IMAGE>
