Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a pneumatic charging apparatus for cigarette making machines consisting of a trough mounted on cams rotating in a vertical plane. The object is to increase the charging rate of such an apparatus and, as required, always to make cut tobacco available in a sufficient quantity and in a thoroughly mixed, loosened state for a relatively large number of high-performance machines. This is achieved by means of a mounting (16) of the round trough (1) on at least the three cams (14) of identical eccentricity at a uniform radial distance from the centre (9) of the trough. In this design, the trough performs an upward and downward movement with a superimposed oscillating rotational movement, so that a fluidised bed is generated and rotational conveying is achieved, uniform distribution of tobacco in the trough and hence rapid closure of holes in the tobacco being guaranteed. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine pneumatische Beschickungsvorrichtung für Zigarettenmaschinen, bestehend aus einem auf in einer vertikalen Ebene rotierenden Exzentern gelagerten Trog. Es ist das Ziel, die Beschickungsleistung einer derartigen Vorrichtung zu erhöhen und bei Bedarf immer Schnittabak in ausreichender Menge und aufgelockerter guter Durchmischung für eine größere Anzahl von Hochleistungsmaschinen bereitzustellen. Erreicht wird dies durch eine Lagerung (16) des runden Troges (1) auf wenigstens drei Exzentern (14) gleicher Exzentrizität mit gleichem radialen Abstand zum Zentrum (9) des Troges. Bei dieser Ausbildung vollführt der Trog eine Auf- und Abbewegung bei überlagerter oszillierender Drehbewegung derart, daß eine Wirbelbetterzeugung und eine umlaufende Förderung realisiert werden, so daß eine gleichmäßige Tabakverteilung im Trog und damit ein schnelles Schließen von Tabaklöchern gewährleistet ist. <IMAGE>
