Abstract (en)
The invention proposes a sheet-metal profile which, preferably of cold-rolled configuration, serves to erect load-bearing frameworks, platforms and the like. The sheet-metal profile has a cross-section which, as a whole, fits into a rectangle (R), the width substantially exceeding the height. The sheet-metal profile is closed off at the top and bottom by narrow sides (1, 2) which extend over the entire width of the profile and are connected to one another via a web (11) which is angled off a number of times. Starting from two mutually opposite edges (7, 8) of the narrow sides, the web (11) extends first of all some way along one broad side of the rectangle (R) enclosing the profile. Subsequently, the web (11) bends off obliquely at an obtuse angle to the opposite, other broad side, where the web (11) finally forms a flat centre piece (14) arranged precisely in the plane of the other broad side. Such a sheet-metal profile has improved torsional behaviour and, in practice, permits a wider application range than the known sheet-metal profiles. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
<IMAGE>
