The invention relates to a method of improving the heat insulation on frames (1) which are made up of heat-insulated composite profiles (2) for windows, doors or the like, the composite profiles (2) comprising two metal profiles (3, 4) which are held at a distance from one another and are connected to one another, with the formation of at least one inner chamber (6), via at least two mutually parallel insulating webs (5) arranged in grooves of the metal profiles (3, 4), and each inner chamber (6) exhibiting a heat-insulation material (7). In order to avoid the former difficulties, the invention proposes that the heat-insulating material (7), in particular in the form of small particles (8), be introduced at at least one point (9) into each inner chamber (6) of the composite profiles (2) only when the frame (1) has been ready-assembled. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Verbesserung der Wärmedämmung an Rahmen (1) aus wärmegedämmten Verbundprofilen (2) für Fenster, Türen od. dgl., wobei die Verbundprofile (2) aus zwei Metallprofilen (3, 4) bestehen, die im Abstand voneinander gehalten und unter Bildung mindestens einer Innenkammer (6) über mindestens zwei in Nuten der Metallprofile (3, 4) angeordnete, parallel zueinander verlaufende Isolierstege (5) miteinander verbunden sind, und wobei jede Innenkammer (6) jeweils ein wärmedämmendes Material (7) aufweist. Zur Vermeidung der bisherigen Schwierigkeiten wird erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, daß das wärmedämmende Material (7), insbesondere in Form kleiner Partikel (8), erst am fertig zusammengebauten Rahmen (1) an mindestens einer Stelle (9) in jede Innenkammer (6) der Verbundprofile (2) eingebracht wird. <IMAGE>
