Abstract (de)
Seitlich des Stapels (105) sind im Bereich von den Stapel (105) begrenzenden Anschlägen (419', 419'') Niederhalteelemente (500) angeordnet, die in der Art eines Paddels ausgebildet sind. Diese Niederhalteelemente (500) werden entlang einer elliptischen Bahn (Q) bewegt, und zwar derart, dass sie eine nach unten und seitlich nach aussen gegen die Anschläge (419', 419'') gerichtete Bewegung ausführen. Dabei kommen sie im Bereich der Faltstellen mit dem zickzackförmig zu faltenden Materialbahnabschnitt (420) in Berührung und drücken den erfassten Bereich des Materialbahnabschnittes (420) nach unten und nach aussen gegen die Anschläge (419', 419''). Auf diese Weise wird ein einwandfreier Falt (F) an der jeweils richtigen Stelle gebildet, und zwar auch bei Materialbahnabschnitten (420), die vorgängig weder vorgefaltet noch mit Schwächungslinien versehen worden sind. <IMAGE>
