Abstract (en)
A change-direction device is located between a web roll for supplying a paper web and a filter attachment for manufacturing filter cigarettes, and comprises a frame(10) and a shaft(36) inclined against the direction of access of the paper web and having two opposite ends supported on the frame(10) in a nonrotatable manner by means of a pair of brackets(32,34). The paper web paid out from the web roll(4) proceeds to the filter attachment(2) after being passed around the inclined shaft(36). <IMAGE>
