In a device for adjusting a brush roll 1, particularly onto the work roll 2 of a rolling stand for the hot rolling of aluminium, the brush roll being rotatable counter to the rotation of the work roll and displaceable in translation parallel to the work roll 2 and being supported at both ends in pivotable mountings 10, the proposal is to arrange the rocker pivot 12 of each brush-roll mounting 10 on the chock 4 of the work roll, the mounting 10 having a pivoted lever 11 situated between a controllable actuating element 13 and a resetting support element 14. The actuating element 13 is arranged in the counterbalancing/bending block 9 and the support element 14 is arranged on the chock 4 of the work roll. In this way, a compact and easily assembled construction is achieved. <IMAGE>

Bei einer Vorrichtung zur Anstellung einer Bürstenwalze 1, insbesondere an die Arbeitswalze 2 eines Walzgerüstes zum Warmwalzen von Aluminium, wobei die Bürstenwalze entgegen der Arbeitswalzenrotation drehbar und parallel zur Arbeitswalze 2 translatorisch verschiebbar ist und in schwenkbaren Halterungen 10 beidseitig gelagert ist, wird vorgeschlagen, das Schwenklager 12 jeder Bürstenwalzen-Halterung 10 am Arbeitswalzeneinbaustück 4 anzuordnen, wobei die Halterung 10 einen Schwenkhebel 11 aufweist, der sich zwischen einem steuerbaren Betätigungselement 13 und einem rückstellenden Stützelement 14 befindet. Das Betätigungselement 13 ist im Ausbalancierungs-/Biegeblock 9 und das Stützelement 14 ist am Arbeitswalzeneinbaustück 4 angeordnet. Hierdurch wird eine kompakte und montagefreundliche Konstruktion erreicht. <IMAGE>
