Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0674252A1] A current source (25) connected between the supply voltage (27) and the drain of a reference MOS transistor (24) imposes a reference current I(ref) on the transistor drain. The drain and grid of the transistor are maintained at the same voltage by a short circuit (CC). A comparator (21) fed from the supply voltage (V+) (27) compares the drain voltage of the transistor (24) with a reference voltage V(tnref) and the difference is fed to a voltage controlled oscillator (22). The oscillator output supplies a multiplier (23) which feeds back to the container thus controlling the threshold voltages of all the transistors in the container.
