Abstract (en)
The fuel supply system has a pressure reduction regulator (5) downstream of the pressure switch. The reduction pressure of the pressure reduction regulator is lower than the pressure controlled by the pressure switch. The pressure switch includes a large storage volume. The pressure switch has great switch hysteresis relative to a switch (8). When a large volume of fuel is stored, it opens the switch. When there is no fuel, it closes it. The pressure reduction regulator may be set to the induction pressure of the IC engine.

Bei einem derartigen System liegen Druckschwankungen und eine hohe Leistungsaufnahme der Brennstoffpumpe vor. Hiergegen weist das neue System die Merkmale auf, daß stromab des Druckreglers (4) zusätzlich ein Reduzierregler (5) eingesetzt ist, dessen Reduzierdruck niedriger als der vom Druckregler (4) geregelte Druck ist. Das neue Brennstoffversorgungssystem eignet sich für Brennkraftmaschinen, die in Fahrzeuge eingebaut werden. <IMAGE>
