Abstract (en)
The compensator (10,11) between two pipe sections (7,8,9) serves to compensate for the length alteration as the result of temp. change. Within the compensator is arranged a gas feed pipe (22) which is formed via extended connections (19) from at least one of the pipe sections. The connection forming the gas feed pipe is cylindrical, oval or conical. The connection is formed on a pipe section (7) and the compensator on the adjoining pipe section (8), whereby the free end of the compensator tightly encloses the other pipe section. The free end of the compensator is formed by a cylindrical connecting section, the internal dia. of which corresponds to the outer dia. of the adjoining pipe section.

Ein Abgassammelrohr (1) besitzt mindestens zwei Anschlußstutzen (2,3,4,5), die über Rohrabschnitte (7,8,9) miteinander verbunden sind. Zwischen den Rohrabschnitten (7,8,9) ist ein Kompensator (10,11) vorgesehen, der zum Ausgleich der Längenänderung infolge Temperaturwechsel dient. Zur Reduzierung der Herstellkosten und Verlängerung der Lebensdauer sowie Verminderung der Geräuschentwicklung wird vorgeschlagen, innerhalb des Kompensators (10,11) ein Gasführungsrohr (22) anzuordnen, das durch verlängerte Stutzen (19) von mindestens einem der Rohrabschnitte (7,8,9) gebildet wird. Das Abgassammelrohr (1) eignet sich insbesondere für Brennkraftmaschinen in einem Kraftfahrzeug. <IMAGE>
