Abstract (en)
The method involves using a package conveyor (28) which branches into two conveyor units (30,31). The ends of the conveyor units in the travel direction of packages (12) are in the form of phased conveyors (30a,31a). The ends of conveyor units are positioned symmetrically to the grouping/stacking unit (32) which has four stacking shafts (36a-d) which form a stacking intersection (36) with equal arms and a centre (37). A rotor turns the stacking intersection in phases on an axle (A). A feeder supplies a row of packages to the conveyor units. When each layer has been stacked, the stack (11) is lowered and removed.

Packungen (12) werden einer Stapelstation (32) symmetrisch zugeführt. Die Stapelstation (32) weist ein Stapelkreuz (36) mit vier Stapelschächten (36a - 36d) auf, welche im Turnus in einer Beschickungsstellung mit Packungen (12) gefüllt werden, aus welchen ein Packungsstapel (11) gebildet wird. Darin bilden Packungen(11) die von verschiedenen Seiten zugeführt werden, jeweils eine Schicht, in der sie gegenparallel und ggfs sich mindestens in den Kopfteilen überlappend angeordnet sind.Nach Drehung um 90 grad werden sie Stapelschächte (36a - 36d) in einer Entleerungsstellung geleert und die Packungsstapel (11) einem Behälter (16) zuführt, mit welchem sie eine Packungseinheit (16) bilden. <IMAGE>
