In the stack area, at least one first sensor (6) is arranged for securing the upper edge of the sheet stack (1) at a specific level. Measurement components are provided, which determine in the stack area beneath the first sensor at least a second position of the upper edge of the sheet stack at a second specific level. A control device is so arranged that the first sensor is connectable with the control for release of the inward movement of the sheet separating devices (4,5) and the measurement components for determining the second position at the second specific level are connectable with the control for release of the inward movement of the auxiliary stack bearer (2,3).

Zur Verbesserung der Stapelbildung beim Nonstop-Stapelwechsel in einem Ausleger einer Bogendruckmaschine werden ein Verfahren und eine zugehörige Vorrichtung vorgeschlagen, die eine bekannte Vorrichtung in ihrer Funktion verbessern. Dazu ist vorgesehen, den Ablauf der Bildung eines Hilfsstapels und des Ablage auf einer neuen Stapelunterlage möglichst kurz und eng verzahnt zu gestalten. In einem Ausleger sind dazu an Seitenführungen 10, 11 Sensoren 6,7,8 angeordnet. Diese steuern die Hubbewegung eines Bogenstapels 1 in Bezug auf die dem Stapelwechsel dienenden Bewegungen von Bogentrennvorrichtungen 4, 5 und Bogentragflächen 2, 3. Der Übergang von den Bogentrennvorrichtungen 4, 5 auf die Bogentragflächen 2, 3 wird zeitlich so verzahnt, daß die Bogenauslage auch bei dünnen Bedruckstoffen fehlerfrei während des Stapelwechsels funkioniert. <IMAGE>
