Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0791708A2] The automobile door lock comprises an operating part (18) which causes unlocking of the lock by a linkage (40). A locking bolt (60) makes the operating part inoperative. The linkage comprises a movable transmission finger (48) which is controlled by the bolt between an active and disengaged positions. The operating part and the linkage are pivoted about perpendicular axes (A1,A2) on the lock frame (12). The transmission finger is mounted at the free end (44) of the linkage and slides in its direction between its active and disengaged positions. In the active position it engages the operating part lever (42). When disengaged its stop surface (76) engages the frame stop surface (56) and locks all movement of the linkage in the unlocking direction.
