Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0798690A2] The circuit blends at least one small image (22-4) into a large image (21) which is divided into rows. The circuit contains a first memory, in which are stored the contents of the small images. A second memory contains an overview contg. data values for an image region (a-g) contg. a number of successive lines yielding changes occurring in the line direction w.r.t. the small image to be represented. The overview contains start and end points for the small image and a pointer to the image contents in the fist memory. A controller controls the reading of the image contents (x,y or z) from the first memory according to the data values which are stored in the overview.
