Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9621132A1] In order to provide a nozzle, such as an angular fan nozzle, or a nozzle system for high temperature reactors with fire-resistant linings so that the nozzle can be easily replaced, a replaceable nozzle (1) or a nozzle-replacement system is proposed which comprises a high temperature-resistant, metallic nozzle body (2), which penetrates the lining (6) of the high temperature reactor at least partially and preferably comprises a slit-like outlet aperture (20), and a pipe (21) connected to the nozzle body (2) for fluid delivery, preferably for connection to an external air gun for delivering a blast of cleaning fluid. The nozzle (1) comprises an expansion collar (3), in particular of resilient high temperature-resistant material, preferably of approximately 10 mm-thick ceramic non-woven fabric or glass fibre needled felt, a preferably outwardly conical nozzle brick (4) and a separating surface or separating layer (5) of high temperature-resistant resilient material. The expansion collar (3) is disposed between the metal nozzle body (2) and the nozzle brick (4). The nozzle brick (4) terminates with the lining (6) substantially flush with the inner surface thereof and is separated by the separating surface or layer (5) from an enveloping shape (60) which is preferably conical on the interior, matches the shape of the nozzle brick (4), and is in particular an enveloping brick, in the lining (6).
