[origin: EP0810505A2] The circuit uses an ohmic resistor (1) in series with a diode element (3), with a second ohmic resistor (2) connected in parallel with the series circuit, having a resistance value corresponding to the required positive temp coefficient. Pref. the circuit is connected across the base-emitter path of a current mirror transistor (5) having an emitter resistance (4) of equal value to the first ohmic resistor.
