Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0823286A2] The method involves using an injector (21) with a delivery gas stream (40) to aspirate powdered material into a suction chamber (25). As well as the delivery gas stream, at least one further adjustable gas stream (41) is connected and surrounds the delivery stream. The second gas stream may be arranged to flow in the same direction as the delivery gas stream or perpendicularly to the delivery gas stream and will surround the gas delivery system. A gas source (30), which supplies the delivery stream to the injector, delivers gas at a constant rate. The rate of gas delivered to the second stream is SIMILAR 3%-10% of that delivered to the delivery stream.
