Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9636152A1] A demodulator for a receiver of digital data in packets sent in predetermined time slots within fixed length time frames is provided. The demodulator comprises at least one data processor and is operative to receive data packets each including synchronisation data. The demodulator includes a buffer for storing data of a received data packet, processing means for reading at least part of the synchronisation data both in the order the synchronisation data was received and in the reverse order, and training means for training the or each data processor dependent upon the synchronisation data.
