[origin: EP0826572A2] The oppositely arranged loose wheel running mechanisms (19,20) are joined to each other by a cross clasp (21), which is rotatably linked around a rotary axis (F2) in the vehicle centre and normally running to the rail plane. A control device (27) is connected with the cross clasp which turns it off when a rail curve is negotiated. The loose wheels (23,24) of the loose wheel running mechanism (19,20) can be disengaged from their rest position, preferably with a threshold value, against a setback force around the pivot axes (L1,L2). Two opposing loose wheels (23,24) are joined to one another by a track rod (22) and each of the loose wheel running mechanisms (19,20) is loaded by means of a leaf spring against a stop in the direction of the centre of the vehicle.
