[origin: EP0849445A1] The engine-side flange (2) and trough forming an exhaust manifold for an internal combustion engine are in one piece as an integral sheet component with the flange edge formed from the sheet. An outlet flange (3) surrounds and outlet connection (15) from the manifold. Preferably a sealing edge is formed in the engine-side flange, which has a peripheral rim (5), and a peripheral loose flange plate (9) is set on the engine-side fastening flange. The manifold trough may be formed from a sandwich of two sheets with an intermediate unwoven material layer.
