The base supports (22,23) of the press stand are spaced apart parallel to each other along the process flow direction. They extend over the whole length of the pressing stations to which the common press slide (8) is allocated. The slide is supported by at least two standing portals which are mounted independently of each other on the base supports and which have a headpiece (41,47) driving the slide. The headpieces work synchronously with each other.

Zur Kostenminimierung werden bei einer Großteil-Transferpresse (1) mehrere Umformstationen (3, 4, 5) unter einem gemeinsamen Stößel (8) angeordnet. Die Tischkonstruktion besteht aus zwei Längs- oder Grundträgern (22, 23), auf die pro Umformstation (3, 4, 5) jeweils ein Tisch (25, 26, 27) quer aufgelegt und bedarfsweise befestigt ist. Der Antrieb des Stößels (8) erfolgt über zwei voneinander unabhängige Kopfstücke (41, 47), die je nach Anzahl der Stationen mit oder ohne Abstand nebeneinander angeordnet sind und jeweils nur eine Umformstation (3, 5) überspannen. <IMAGE>
