Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0927821A2] The method involves using a control valve which can connect a fuel delivery channel to a high pressure chamber to build up an injection pressure in the high pressure chamber between a high pressure pump and an injection nozzle. An injection control signal closes the control valve for a predefined time and then opens it again, after which at least one further control signal closes the valve for at least a second defined period.
