Roll gaps (s3-s10) of the active roll stands (3-10) are adjusted via hydraulic cylinder units (12) which are controlled by roll gap regulators (13) by whose frame springs of the active roll stands are compensated into fractions. The fractions are separately adjusted for each roll stand. Mill train has active roll stands operating in pairs and being adjustable to roll gaps. The rolled material (11) can be rolled to a final height (h) and a vertical final width (b) by applying rolling forces (F3-F10). Roll gaps (s3-s10) of the active roll stands (3-10) are adjusted via hydraulic cylinder units (12) which are controlled by roll gap regulators (13) by whose frame springs of the active roll stands are compensated into fractions. The fractions are separately adjusted for each roll stand.

Walzstraße zum Walzen von stabförmigem Walzgut (11), z. B. Stabstahl oder Draht, mit mehreren über Hydraulikzylindereinheiten (12) auf Watzspalte (s3 - s10) einstellbaren, von dem Walzgut (11) nacheinander durchlaufenen, zu Walzgerüstpaaren zusammengefaßten aktiven Walzgerüsten (3 - 10), mittels derer das Walzgut (11) unter Aufbringung von Walzkräften (F3 - F10) auf eine Endhöhe (h) und eine hierzu senkrechte Endbreite (b) walzbar ist, wobei die Hydraulikzylindereinheiten (12) von Walzspaltregelungen (13) ansteuerbar sind, mittels derer walzkraftbedingte Auffederungen der aktiven Walzgerüste (3 - 10) zumindest zu Bruchteilen (t3 - t10) kompensierbar sind, und wobei die Bruchteile (t3 - t10) für jedes aktive Walzgerüst (3 - 10) separat einstellbar sind. <IMAGE>
