Abstract (en)
The tamping spike, to tamp ballast under a railway line, has a spike shaft (8) and a spike plate (6). The plate has an opening (11) in a shell (9) of a wear-resistant material. The opening is filled with a core mass (10) with a contact surface (15) for welding with the spike shaft, bonded by a welded seam. The opening has a recess (14) leading to the lower edge (13) of the spike, at the rear side of the spike shaft.

Ein Stopfpickel (4) zum Unterstopfen von Schotter eines Gleises weist einen Pickelschaft (8) und eine Pickelplatte (6) auf, die zwecks Erhöhung des Abriebwiderstandes eine mit einer Öffnung (11) ausgestattete Plattenhülle (9) aus verschleißfestem Material aufweist. Diese ist mit einer zur Verschweißung mit dem Pickelschaft (8) geeigneten Kernmasse (10) gefüllt, die durch eine Schweißnaht mit dem Pickelschaft (8) verbunden ist. <IMAGE>
