The device has a lock catch and a locking pawl with main and pilot locking positions in which the catch is held by the pawl, which can be coupled to an actuating element operated by an electric motor to raise the pawl from the catch. A switch is provided for switching the motor on and off. The actuating element has a control cam that actuates the switch, which is additionally operated independently by the pawl. The device has a lock catch (1) and a locking pawl (2) that can be brought into main and pilot locking positions in which the catch is held by the pawl. The pawl can be coupled to an actuating element (9) operated by an electric drive motor (7) to raise the pawl from the catch. An electrical or electronic switch (10) is provided for switching the motor on and switching it off, especially by short circuiting it. The actuating element has a control cam (11) that actuates the switch, which is additionally operated independently by the pawl.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kraftfahrzeugschloß mit einer Schloßfalle (1) und einer Sperrklinke (2), wobei die Schloßfalle (1) und die Sperrklinke (2) jeweils in eine Hauptraststellung und in eine ggf. vorhandene Vorraststellung bringbar sind, wobei die Schloßfalle (1) durch die Sperrklinke (2) in der Hauptraststellung und in der ggf. vorhandenen Vorraststellung arretierbar ist, wobei die Sperrklinke (2) in eine ausgehobene, die Schloßfalle (1) freigebende Stellung bringbar ist, wobei ein durch einen elektrischen Antriebsmotor (7) verstellbares Stellelement (9) vorgesehen ist, wobei das Stellelement (9) mechanisch derart mit der Sperrklinke (2) gekoppelt ist, daß durch eine Stellbewegung des Stellelements (9) die Sperrklinke (2) aushebbar ist, wobei ein elektrischer oder elektronischer Schalter (10) vorgesehen ist, wobei der Antriebsmotor (7) durch Betätigung des Schalters (10) einschaltbar ist und ansonsten ausgeschaltet, insbesondere kurzgeschlossen ist, wobei das Stellelement (9) einen Steuernocken (11) aufweist und wobei der Schalter (10) durch den Steuernocken (11) des Stellelements (9) und zusätzlich, unabhängig vom Stellelement (9), durch die Sperrklinke (2) betätigbar ist. <IMAGE>
