The device has a metal housing closed by a welded lid and/or bottom, a coolant inlet and outlet, an insert with a drying agent, a line for coolant that communicates at one end with the upper housing interior, leads down to near the housing floor, where it has a bore communicating with the housing interior, and rises back to the coolant outlet. The lid and/or bottom is additionally secured to the peripheral housing wall by shape-locking. The device has a metal housing (1) closed by a welded lid and/or bottom (13), a coolant inlet and outlet, an insert with a drying agent in the lower housing interior, a line for mainly gaseous coolant that communicates at one end with the upper housing interior, leads down to near the housing floor, where it has a bore communicating with the housing interior, and rises back to its other end connected to the coolant outlet. The lid and/or bottom is additionally secured to the peripheral housing wall by shape-locking (12,16).

Ein Akkumulator für eine nach dem "Orifice"-Prinzip arbeitende Klimaanlange umfasst in an und für sich bekannter Weise ein metallisches Gehäuse (1), das durch einen eingeschweißten Deckel und/oder Boden (13) verschlossen ist und einen Einlass (5, 6) sowie einen Auslass (8, 9) für Kältmittel aufweist. Im unteren Bereich des Innenraumes des Gehäuses (1) ist ein Trockenmittel enthaltender Einsatz (24) vorgesehen. Eine Leitung (18, 19, 20) für hauptsächlich gasförmiges Kältemittel kommuniziert am einen Ende mit dem oberen Bereich des Innenraumes des Gehäuses (1), führt nach unten bis nahe an den Boden (13) des Gehäuses (1), wo sie über eine kleine Bohrung (22) mit dem Innenraum des Gehäuses (1) kommuniziert, und steigt von dort wiederum zu ihrem anderen Ende auf, welches mit dem Auslass (8, 9) für Kältemittel verbunden ist. Um den hohen Betriebsdrucken Stand zu halten, wie sie bei der Verwendung von Kohlendioxid als Kältemittel auftreten, ist der Deckel und/oder Boden (13) zusätzlich an der Umfangswandung (2) des Gehäuses (1) durch einen Formschluss (12, 16) gesichert. <IMAGE>
