Abstract (en)
The method for installing a low-floor center section (M) in the body (W) of a high-floor rail vehicle entails clamping the support structure in a rigid frame, removing all non-supporting floor sections in the region of the center support structure section, introducing new longitudinal support sections into the support structure below the center section, cutting out of the center support section and existing wall and roof regions in the center section of body, introducing one or more new longitudinal support sections and cross members, and fitting new floor (B), wall (WA) and roof (D) sections to the new longitudinal support sections.

Der Einbau eines niederflurigen Mittelteiles (M) in den Wagenkasten (W) eines hochflurigen Schienenfahrzeuges wird in folgenden Schritten durchgeführt: a) Aufnehmen und Einspannen der Trägerstruktur des Wagenkastens (W) an mindestens je drei Aufnahmepunkten der Trägerstruktur (T) vor und hinter einem mittleren Trägerstrukturabschnitt in einem starren Gestell; b) Entfernen aller nichttragenden Bodenteile im Bereich des mittleren Trägerstrukturabschnittes; c) Einfügen neuer Längsträgerabschnitte in die Trägerstruktur des Wagenkastens (W) unterhalb des mittleren Trägerstrukturabschnittes; d) Heraustrennen des mittleren Trägerstrukturabschnittes und der vorhandenen Wandund Dachbereiche im Mittelteil (M) des Wagenkastens (W); e) erforderlichenfalls Einfügen eines oder mehrerer weiterer neuer Längsträgerabschnitte und von Querträgern in die Trägerstruktur des Mittelteiles (M) des Wagenkastens (W); f) Anordnen und Einfügen neuer Boden-, Wand- und Dachbereiche (B,WA,D) im Mittelteil (M) des Wagenkastens (W) auf den neuen Längsträgerabschnitten der Trägerstruktur; g) Lösen der Einspannung der Aufnahmepunkte der Trägerstruktur von dem starren Gestell. <IMAGE>
