Abstract (en)

Continuous casting device has flat opposite-lying sides (21a, 21b) in a continuous casting mold and opposite-lying sides (22a, 22b) which are concave to each side edge (23, 24). Only a small symmetrical drop is located from the side middle (26) up to each side edge. A concave surface lies on the mold outlet opening on the supporting structure rollers. The non-flat sides can be deformed with or without a liquid sump using deforming rollers in the soft reduction or hard reduction region.

Auf der Grundlage einer Stranggießvorrichtung mit einer Stranggießkokille (1) zum Gießen von flüssigen Metallen, insbesondere von Stahlwerkstoffen, mit Knüppel-, Block-, Vorblock-, Träger-Vorprofil-, Rund oder Vieleck-Strangformat (14) und mit in der Stranggießkokille (1) gegossenem Führungsprofil (20), das außerhalb der Kokille (1) auf ein durcherstarrtes Endprofil (21c) verformt wird, kann der Gießstrang an der Kokillen-Austrittsöffnung (19) durch konkave Flächen (27), durch an den Seitenkanten (23; 24) sanft abgesetzte Übergänge (32) oder durch Ausnehmungen (36) in den Eckbereichen (35) und Rückverformen in einem Softreduction- oder Hardreduction-Bereich (8a) in seiner Innenqualität verbessert werden. <IMAGE>
