Abstract (en)
Process for producing glossy and matte surface regions (22, 24) during printing of a can body in a production line comprises applying a base lacquer onto the can body using a base lacquering machine, applying a printing ink onto the can body using a printing machine, and applying a top lacquer onto the can body using a top lacquering machine. A matte lacquer is applied as the top lacquer onto regions of the can body to produce a matte surface using a register-controlled flexographic printing plate or a register-controlled cylinder.

Das Bedrucken eines Dosenkörpers zur Erzeugung von glänzenden und matten Oberflächenbereichen (22,24) erfolgt in einer Produktionslinie mit einer Grundlackiermaschine zum Auftragen eines Grundlackes (26) auf den Dosenkörper, einer Druckmaschine zum Auftragen von Druckfarben (28,30), wovon wenigstens eine Glanzdruckfarbe (28), auf den grundlackierten Dosenkörper und einer Decklackiermaschine zum Auftragen eines Decklackes (32) auf den grundlackierten und bedruckten Dosenkörper. Als Decklack (32) wird ein Mattlack über eine registergesteuerte Flexodruckplatte oder einen registergesteuerten Zylinder auf die zur Erzeugung einer matten Oberfläche (24) vorgesehenen Bereiche des Dosenkörpers aufgetragen. Zur Durchführung des Verfahrens kann eine herkömmliche Produktionslinie mit einfachen Mitteln umgerüstet werden. <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
