[origin: WO2004078372A1] The invention relates to a method for manufacturing copper or copper alloy tube, which method includes an extrusion step and at least one working step in order to work the tube to its final size, and according to which method the inner surface of the tube is subjected to a cleaning treatment. According to the method, the cleaning treatment is carried out on the inner surface of the extruded tube before the tube is worked to its final size.
